Sad News
It is with deepest regret to inform you of the sudden passing of Balmain FC ladies player Sally Griffiths, who last week was fatally injured in a car crash. Sally, who was the girlfriend of former Balmain player Cheyne Richards, was a fantastic girl who as I remember always had a smile on her face and a friendly “hello”. Speaking to some of her fellow players and coach the devastation is clear and she will be sorely missed.
On behalf of myself, the committee and all the players of Balmain Soccer club we offer Cheyne and Sally’s family our deepest sympathies and know we will always remember.
