6-a-Side Grand Final Results
The finals have been played and the winners decided, and this year’s Division 1 champions are none other than the Armytage Shanks. The team with a toilet for a mascot overcame a determined Balmain Rodriguez in a penalty shootout after an entertaining match that ended 2 goals apiece. Congratulations to Armytage Shanks, and commiserations to Balmain Rodriguez, who were only a whisker away from glory.
The Division 2 final was not so close though, with the Tigers taking the trophy home after a convincing 3-0 win over Golden Boys.
So we wind up another year with a big thanks to all the players, referees, officials, and administrators that make this competition the success that it is. We hope to see you all back later this year.
