All players new and old are advised that pre season training will commence at Birchgrove Oval, Grove Street, Birchgrove. We will begin on Wednesday 8th January at 6:30pm and continue every Monday and Wednesday thereafter until the end of our 6-a-side competition. We will then revert to our usual Tuesday and Thursdays.

Due to the large number of teams in the division this year the State Competition will start as early as 2nd of March so it is important all attend.

On the 16th December The AGM for Balmain Soccer club was held at Leo's place of work in the city.It gave us the chance to reflect on the year and elect a new committee for the coming season. It also gave the oppurtunity to introduce our new coaching staff for the 1st and 2nd grades (see following announcement).
Re-Elected as President and Secretary were Leo Cirillo and Dave Grill respectively. Also Alex Kaltenegger,Dave Hardwick,Jackson Gothe-Snape and Ian Bailey were elected as Directors along with Jem Richardson as our IT manager.
The new committee it was decided would meet again on the 14th of january to organise all pre-season tasks.

Next Monday 16th December is Our Annual General Meeting. It will be held at Leo's place of work which is the Horticultural Society of NSW, Level 1, 50 Carrington Street, Sydney, commencing at 6.30pm (near Wynard Station). It is important all attend for discussion of the forthcoming season and appointment of committee members. We will also be introducing our new coaching team for next year. There will be food and drink available.
