Pre Season training will commence on Thursday 8th January 2004 at Birchgrove Oval, Birchgrove and there after every Tuesday and Thursday. Training will commence at 6.30pm sharp so be there at 6.15 at the latest.If you require any more info then call Dave Grill on 0401 691 769

After last weeks AGM I am happy to announce the appointment of Jimmy Campbell as our new Head Coach. Jimmy of course was with us for many years as player and coach and has a record unequalled by any other at Balmain SC with numerous premierships and championships.

Also after many years at the helm in every capacity, Leo Cirillo finally called it a day and resigned his position as President. In his place Dave Grill was duly elected as new president promising sweeping reforms as he accepted the post.

His first point of business he said, was to propose that Balmain adopt a new nickname "The Sweet Chariots". Also that all club shirts have the number 10 on the back and everyone at the club be called Johny!!

Balmain F.C will be having its annual general meeting at Leo,s place of work which is Level 1, 50 Carrington St Sydney and not at the Exchange as previously announced on Thursday 11th December commencing at 6.30pm sharp.Points to be raised will be the voting in of a new committee,New coaching staff appointments, and delegation of tasks for the upcoming season. We hope that all our members can attend especially as there will be free "Punch & Pie"
