Back At Birchgrove

As of Tuesday 2nd March we will recommence training at Birchgrove Oval, Grove Street, Birchgrove. Starting at 6.30pm sharp we will remain there for the duration of the season every Tuesday and Thursday nights.

Tonight's training cancelled

Unfortunately training is cancelled tonight as Easton Park is closed due to the wet weather. At this stage training will proceed as usual on Thursday night at Easton Park - check here on Thursday if the rain continues.

Friendly vs Dunbar Rovers

The details for this weekend's friendly against Dunbar Rovers are as follows:

Saturday Feb 21 at the Brazilian Field (#7), Dickens Drive, Centennial Park. Kick off times are 3pm and 4:30pm.

Enter Centennial Park via the Robertson Road gates, turn left onto Grand Drive and then right onto Dickens Drive.

Unless you have been told otherwise by Jimmy Campbell, please arrive by 2:15pm for the game kicking off at 3pm.

Pre-season Training

Another change! Pre-season training will be held at the following grounds until further notice:

Tuesdays & Thursdays: Easton Park, Rozelle. 6.15 sharp

Trial Game Changed to Saturday 7th

The trial match originally scheduled for this Sunday the 8th has been cancelled. Instead there will be a warm-up run followed by a trial match this Saturday the 7th at King Georges Park, Rozelle starting at 9:15am. Please make sure you bring your boots and runners.

Ladies Take Home the 6-a-side Cup

St Ives was rocking last night after the St Ives Ladies Bowling Club took out Balmain's 6-a-side cup with a resounding 5-1 hammering of the Balmain Old Boys in the final. Both teams had earlier qualified for the final by scoring golden goals in the last minute of extra time in their respective semi finals. St Ives captain Keir "Aunty May" Smith was overjoyed with the victory and dedicated it to elderly bowlers everywhere in his cup acceptance speech.
