Springwood Kick-Off times later

Just a quick reminder that kick-off times this weekend are 5:30pm for reserves and 7:30pm for first grade, not the usual 1pm and 3pm as previously listed by Football NSW.

Apologies for the late notice, but on the bright side if you don't see this message then at least you will get there nice and early.

Tigers see off Bathurst

At Birchgrove last Saturday Balmain overcame Bathurst in both reserves and firsts, 3-2 and 3-1 respectively.

Against Prospect United on Saturday at marshy Birchgrove, reserve grade went down 2-0 but firsts turned the tide with a battling 1-0 win. Here are Dave and Chris to take us through the games...

Balmain 20 Luddenham 0

Balmain's first team put a couple of weeks of wet weather frustrations behind them to rack up an impressive 11-0 victory on Saturday, which was only a couple better than the reserve team's return to form with a 9-0 thumping. With 2nd placed Roosters FC going down 4-1 to Gladesville, the firsts are positioned nicely with a 4 point lead on the league table.

This week Jackson is joined on the couch at the Monkey Bar by stalwart defenders Jeremy Pettenon and Dave Hawes to discuss the double demolition of Luddenham, and why exactly they had very little to do all day.
