Late show saves Tigers' day

» Posted by Jackson on 31-May-09

On Saturday away to Hurstville, Balmain notched up two victories: 2-0 in Under 20s and 4-2 in First Grade. It wasn't all plain sailing though. First Grade came back from 2-1 down with just 12 minutes to play.

The Under 20s' good form continues with their fourth win in five games. They are one of the form sides of the competition now and are just two wins from the play-offs.

First Grade conceded early goals in both halves, but battled back to claim their second win of the season. Goals from Jeremy Pettenon, Eamonn Byrne and two from Craig Andrews sealed a vital three points for the Tigers.

Next week Balmain welcomes Sydney Wanderers to Lambert Park on Saturday evening. See you then.
